For the first 3–5 days, your lips may feel swollen, dry, or tender—this is completely normal. Keep lips moisturized at all times using the recommended healing ointment. Avoid spicy, salty, or acidic foods, as well as hot drinks, which can irritate the treated area. Use a straw when drinking and gently pat lips dry—do not rub. Refrain from kissing, picking, or licking your lips during the healing phase. Do not apply makeup, lip balm, or skincare products unless provided by your technician. Avoid sun exposure, sweating, swimming, and saunas for at least 7–10 days. Flaking or scabbing is a natural part of healing—allow it to peel off on its own. Color will appear more intense at first and will gradually soften as the lips heal. Final results will be visible in 4–6 weeks, and a touch-up may be needed for color refinement. Follow these instructions carefully to ensure smooth healing and long-lasting color.
